PMC-MIN/S CV/P Series
PMC Slimline Electronic Pressure Transmitters (MIN/S) accurately measure pressure, level, and vacuum in processes where clogging of the diaphragm face is a particular concern. With a body that is only 1 1/16″ in diameter and 4″ in length, the compact design of this transmitter allows installation in confined spaces that is flush with the inside wall of pipes 2″ in diameter and larger. This feature eliminates the usual pocketing problems encountered with conventional flange-mounted and recessed-diaphragm transmitters. PMC incorporates a high-precision ceramic capacitive pressure sensor to ensure accuracy and durability. This type of sensor is ideally suited for high-wear applications. The process pressure is converted to a standard two-wire 4-20 mA output. An electronic voltage-to-current converter is used for signal conditioning and allows accurate calibration by utilizing precision potentiometers on a set of DIP switches. A turndown of up to 5:1 is possible. The MIN/S Series of transmitters provides overpressure protection of up to 10 times the full scale range. The CV configuration allows customers to specify custom lengths of cable to be supplied with the transmitter. A choice of vented Polyurethane or Teflon FEP cable is available. Teflon FEP able offers improved chemical resistance for more demanding applications.
