Unfortunately, defective product lawsuits are becoming a very common occurrence within this country.  Lawsuits of this nature generally arise from a source of negligence.  A company in a hurry to launch a new product in order to beat the competitors or to get the product to the consumer before a big spending season, can end up losing a large portion of the profit margin.  Product liability is something that manufacturers must take very seriously.  We have certainly seen the headlines that tell of the millions, or even tens of millions, paid out by corporations sued when a product malfunctions and causes serious harm or death.

Much of this could be avoided with proper testing prior to the product launch.  Quality control testing is designed to find the flaws before those issues can cause harm to the consumer.  When this process is rushed, major, potentially fatal accidents can happen. Today, clean room, and controlled space systems are readily available to manufacturers who want to know exactly how a product will respond to various stimuli.  Temperature, humidity, and other variables can be precisely defined, in order to mimic exactly the conditions that the product would be regularly exposed to.
