Many of the utility companies have started offering the option for customers to set up a monthly payment plan.  The concept is simple – estimate how much energy will be consumed by the property over the course of the year, split up the cost of that much energy evenly over twelve months, so there is a consistent monthly charge throughout the year.  Keeping with this winning trend, HVAC companies have started doing the same, in some cases actually piggy-backing on the utility companies’ billing, offering customers to split up the cost of maintaining their HVAC systems into monthly payments.  Adding just a few dollars per month to what they are already spending on energy costs, the property owners will have regular system inspections, and can feel more secure in the knowledge that their HVAC systems will not fail when they are needed most.
