Outside Sales for Eastern Ontario

Job Description

SRP control systems ltd., a leading distributor of instrumentation and calibration instruments is recruiting a dynamic individual for the established territory of Eastern Ontario. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • A successful track record in outside sales
  • Minimum 5 years experience and familiar with customers in this territory
  • University Degree or Technologist Diploma
  • Expertise in the fields of instrumentation and calibration instruments
  • Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, depth/level, relative humidity/dew point, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Vehicle with a clear record

Requirements and skills: energetic, self-motivated, well spoken and the ability to confidently meet with businesses to present our products and services. Also, the appropriate candidate shall maintain a professional appearance and abide by our code of conduct with honest and ethical behaviour.

SRP control systems ltd. has been in the instrumentation and calibration market for nearly 40 years. With an established customer base, a successful candidate shall be responsible for the following:

  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential and existing customers to discuss their current and future needs
  • Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best overall product or service solution for each customers needs
  • Provide presentations, present demos and lunch & learns for customers
  • Provide quotes and email product information as required
  • Must be on the road 4 days a week and in the office 1 day
  • Provide a sales report on a weekly basis to the Sales Manager
  • Attend monthly meetings at head office
